The arbitrary blocking of third-party clients on the birdsite is also an arbitrary attack on some indy company’s businesses. At least have the courtesy of messaging these changes ahead of time.

I’ve never been a huge Twitter user. But since all the shenanigans that have happened and since moving over to Mastadon, I’ve started to get a much better appreciation of the Indy Web. Shamefully I’ve never spent a lot of time thinking about this.
